Our messages are prepared to connect with people’s lives by using the ageless wisdom of Scripture and presenting it creatively yet straightforwardly. The services are designed to be easily understood by individuals exploring what it means to have a personal relationship with Jesus.

People who attend Hanks Chapel Church come from various faith backgrounds.  Together, we focus on biblical truth and teachings and pursue an active relationship with Jesus Christ. You don’t have to be a member of a specific religious denomination to participate in Sunday mornings or other ministries.

If you are new to or visiting Hanks Chapel Church, please do not feel obligated to give. You will never be pressured to make monetary contributions.  Our ministries are supported by regular attendees who give as an active worship to God.

At Hanks Capel Church, you’ll see many people in jeans and khakis and fewer in suits and dresses. You’re welcome to dress casually and come as you are

We believe in a variety of different expressions of worshiping God. As a Hanks Chapel Church attendee, you are welcome to worship God in a way that expresses your heart toward him. For some, that’s quietly reflecting on the words; for others, that’s clapping, raising their hands, and singing out.

While our congregation currently has few children, we eagerly anticipate their presence. As our community grows, we’ll introduce Sunday school, Children’s Church, and additional church services as needed. Throughout the year, we organize fun events for kids, including Easter Egg Hunts, hot dog luncheons, and our Fall Festival. This August, we’re excited to host an Ice Cream Social to celebrate the end of summer! Our beautiful nursery is ready and waiting. Our caring members are happy to watch over your infant during the service, allowing you to fully enjoy the adult worship experience.

Hanks Chapel warmly welcomes members who acknowledge Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior, have been baptized and commit to actively participate in our community through their presence, prayers, service, and gifts. How can you become a member of Hanks Chapel Church?  There are three ways:

  1. Profession of Faith and Baptism: New believers express their faith and receive baptism.
  2. Transfer from Another Church: Members from other Christian churches can present a letter of transfer and engaging in our worship and work.
  3. Reaffirmation of Faith: Existing believers renew their commitment.

Qualifying individuals can be received into the Church during any worship service.

Attending services is a good start, but we hope you will always ask yourself: what is my next step? You can check out what is happening by navigating the church website “Presence in Community” and Church Calendar” pages.
